Climate for Change

About Climate for Change

Climate for Change (C4C) is a volunteer-powered not-for-profit with a mission to create the social mandate in Australia for effective action on climate change.

Although the majority of Australians are concerned about climate change and want the government to take significant action, many people feel alone in their concerns, disconnected from communities taking action, and unable to influence systemic change.

Through our Climate Conversations framework, we build support for climate action in strategic communities and across the country. We engage and activate people across demographics, across the political divide and in both regional and urban communities. C4C equips people with tools, resources, and a sense of agency, so they are motivated to engage with their networks in meaningful conversations, and build climate action communities. Through peer-to-peer engagement, community building and climate and democracy education, C4C nurtures a network of informed and active citizens to empower climate action.
