It is an exciting time to join Cafs and contribute to embedding consistent therapeutic practice approaches in our work with carers, children, young people and families. This is a rare opportunity for an experienced People Leader to guide and support a team of professional practitioners in ensuring the safety, stability and development needs of children and young people who cannot live with their birth families are met.
Supported by four team leaders, the Manager Home Based Care will expertly lead, manage and support the growth and development of the Foster Care, Kinship Care and Adoption and Permanent Care and Carer Recruitment and Support Programs including managing stakeholder relationships with external bodies (Regional, State and Federal) and ensuring the program objectives are met and compliant with statutory funding requirements.
Minimum Bachelor level qualification in Social Work, Welfare, Psychology or relevant field. Formal training in professional supervision/reflective practice is essential.
