About The Role

We are excited to announce an opening in our in our Youth and Family Services at our Eden office, serving the Bega Valley region. This is a permanent position for a Team Leader – Targeted Earlier Intervention, with the option to work either 4 or 5 days per week.

In this role, you will lead a team in delivering flexible, community-focused early intervention services tailored to the needs of children, young people and families. Our services are designed to address the unique circumstances within our community with a focus of development, strength focused and co-design.

Key Duties:

  • Collaborate with the community to enhance the resilience of children, young people, and families.
  • Design, implement, and manage services grounded in client and community needs, utilising evidence-based practices and reflective evaluation tools.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Experience working individually and in groups with young people.
  • Background in coaching and mentoring within a trauma-informed and strengths-based framework.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging a diverse range of clients and stakeholders.
  • Experience conducting risk assessments.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
  • Proven ability to develop community networks.
  • Commitment to personal and professional development.
  • Full rights to live and work in Australia without restrictions.
  • A valid Working with Children Check in your state (or a willingness to obtain one).
  • Consent for a Criminal History Check.
