Cancer Trials Australia (CTA) is a not-for- profit member-based organisation consisting of 34 clinical sites and 3 medical research institutes across Australia and New Zealand. We support the administration and management of clinical trials across both metropolitan and regional hospitals. We work in close partnership with clinical research sites, Sponsors and CRO’s to ensure patients can gain access to appropriate clinical trials as quickly as possible. As part of the Operations team, you will gain highly sought-after skills in the set-up of clinical trials and take ownership of the budget and contract review process.
Our Budget and Contracts Specialists liaise closely with Research teams (Study Coordinators, Principal Investigators, and Research Unit Managers) at Clinical Research Sites, as well as with the site’s internal supporting departments (radiology, pathology, pharmacy, etc.) in conjunction with other external stakeholders. You will also nurture strong relationships with local and global CRO’s, as well as national and international biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies.
To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent administration and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service. You will be a team player, who thrives in delivering quality outcomes to clients.
