The Strategy and Support Division places people at the centre of everything we do. We work directly with clinicians, researchers, policymakers and people affected by cancer to reduce inequities and improve outcomes for all Victorians, now and into the future.

Our division comprises of Cancer Information and Support Services (CISS), Research Governance and Optimal Care (RGOC), Cancer Strategy, the McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer, Marketing and Communications and Business Management.

The Education & Training team is part of the Cancer Strategy Unit and its purpose is to produce and deliver evidence-based and best practice education and training programs for both health professionals and people affected by cancer, with the aim of improving the experience and outcomes of people affected by cancer.

About your opportunity

We are looking for a Coordinator, Education and Training Programs to join the Cancer Strategy team. Reporting to the Manager, Education and Training, this exciting role will focus primarily on our Cancer Education Programs and be responsible for:

  • Program coordination, delivery and planning
  • Online and face to face delivery of our education programs to health professionals, volunteers and others who work with people affected by cancer
  • Recruiting and training of new facilitators

We are looking for someone with:

  • Excellent facilitation skills, having worked in dynamic educational environments
  • Demonstrated success in engaging and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience in program coordination
  • A strong interest in communication in healthcare

What we can offer you
