Division Summary

The Strategy and Support Division works directly with people, clinicians, researchers, and policymakers. Our purpose is to reduce inequities and improve outcomes for all people affected by cancer, now and into the future. Our division comprises of Cancer Information and Support Services, Research Governance and Business Operations, Cancer Strategy and the McCabe Centre for Law & Cancer.

The Education Team is part of the Cancer Strategy Unit in this Division. The purpose of the Education Team is to deliver programs that build capacity and improve experiences of people affected by cancer.

About your opportunity

We are seeking a Program Coordinator to join the Education team. Reporting to the Education Manager your role is to:

  • Provide program support including management of databases and web administration.
  • Manage day-to-day relationships with key stakeholders including colleagues, health professionals, community members and other external stakeholders to support program delivery.
  • Contribute to the planning, implementation, promotion, budgeting, and evaluation of programs.

All about you:

  • You like working on multiple things, are organised and take initiative to complete tasks.
  • You’re skilled with creating presentations and being the ‘go-to’ person to run the tech for online presentations.
  • You’re a problem solver and you get a sense of satisfaction completing tasks to a high standard.
  • You're comfortable with digital platforms and can easily pick up new systems and programs.

What we can offer you

  • A base salary of $69,090 - $76,464 p.a. (dependant on experience, pro rata for part time) plus 11% superannuation
