This role is available part-time, between 25 – 30 hours per week, and can be performed remotely from anywhere in Australia.

ABOUT THE ROLE

As an Accountant / Finance Officer at Candella, you will:

• Manage day-to-day financial functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll administration, with a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
• Cultivate strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing support and guidance on financial matters.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and timely financial reporting, facilitating informed decision-making by the board and leadership team.
• Collaborate with auditors for annual audits, demonstrating professionalism and efficiency throughout the process.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes, contributing to Candella's overall success.

ABOUT YOU

To excel in this role, you will need:

• Prior experience in a finance or payroll-related role, preferably within a not-for-profit organisation.
• Proficiency in financial management systems such as Xero, coupled with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to effectively collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
