THE ROLE

In this role you will:

  • Provide high quality support services to NDIS participants.
  • Provide support to clients to work towards wellbeing goals.
  • Operate from a strength based, person centred, recovery practice model.
  • Work with clients with diverse needs and goals.
  • Operate independently in community outreach and part of a team to deliver high quality psychosocial support.

ABOUT YOU

Critical to your success will be your:

  • Person centred and capacity building approach that empowers and fosters independence in others.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and constructively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of recovery orientated, community-based mental health support.
  • Ability to assess risks and create assessments and safety planning.
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with NDIS participants and work effectively with them to define and achieve their capacity building goals as identified in their NDIS Plan.
  • High quality written communication and report writing skills, and ability to meet administrative requirements in a timely manner.

You must hold an Australian Driver’s License and pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check.
