Join Canteen and help young people affected by cancer in a caring and compassionate team culture.
Canteen is dedicated to supporting young people and their families affected by cancer. Founded by young cancer patients, our mission is to provide essential programs, services, and resources that positively impact the lives of 12–25-year-olds facing their own diagnosis, dealing with a close family member's cancer, or grieving the loss of a loved one. We believe in the transformative power of our team, and together, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Canteen’s success is built on the capability and motivation of its people. We are now seeking a psychologist or mental health accredited social worker to join our team where you will provide psychological support to young people and families as part of our in-house private psychology practice. This is a high-impact role for a qualified psychologist or mental health social worker with a natural ability to connect and support.
Canteen’s culture is unique, offering you an inspiring, rewarding and purposeful work experience with endless opportunities. Check out our LinkedIn Life Page for insight into our employee experience.
If you have an interest in oncology, youth mental health, grief and loss and the complexity that physical illness can bring to mental ill health, this is the role for you.
If you’re passionate about what you do and are ready to make a difference, apply now. Applications close on 19/04/2024 Do not delay in applying as we will be reviewing applications periodically during this time. Please submit your Resume and Cover Letter outlining your relevant experience.
