Led by our new Executive Director – Marketing and Fundraising, Canteen’s invigorated approach to fundraising opens up a breadth of new opportunities for aspirational and experienced fundraisers alike. To help continue this new direction, we are looking for an experienced, driven and motivated Corporate Partnerships Manager who can take Canteen’s vision and values, foster key relationships and build successful partnerships to help achieve our ambitions. You will be responsible for the effective development, management and growth of Canteen’s portfolio of partners and contribute to the overall financial targets of the organisation and ultimately maintain Canteen’s reputation as a ‘partner of excellence’ within the corporate sectors.

Canteen is dedicated to supporting young people and their families affected by cancer. Founded by young cancer patients, our mission is to provide essential programs, services, and resources that positively impact the lives of 12-25 year-olds facing their own diagnosis, dealing with a close family member's cancer, or grieving the loss of a loved one. We believe in the transformative power of our team, and together, we aim to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

About our role

  • Find, develop and nurture strong connections with key stakeholders to enhance support for current corporate partners, ultimately driving the financial growth of Canteen.
  • Engage in new business development initiatives that support the stewardship and acquisition of new partners.
  • Build a retention strategy and execute exceptional account management to maintain long-term mutually beneficial relationships with our partners.
  • Manage a growing portfolio of corporate partners ensuring the achievement of agreed service levels for current and future partners.
  • Manage the development, design, and distribution of marketing and communication materials, presentations, events and partner impact reports.
  • Support the contract review process and execution of new business and renewals.
  • Coordinate the organisation's existing workplace giving partners.

About You

  • Proven experience, ideally 3+ years in managing corporate partnerships with a focus on developing and maintaining relationships, and delivering on successful partnership agreements.
  • Corporate Partnership expertise gained within NFP or Charity.
  • Demonstrated understanding of business development requirements to secure new partnerships.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in managing budgets, invoices and impact reporting.
  • Proficiency in utilising a CRM system, preferably Salesforce.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Excellent people skills and genuinely driven to support a healthy team culture.
  • A compassionate values-based approach and genuine desire to grow those in your team and around you.

*Due to the nature of Canteen’s work, you will be required to (very) occasionally work weekends and evenings. Advance notice will be given when this is the case, and Canteen does have a Time off in Lieu policy for taking leave as agreed with the supervising manager.
