To help continue this new direction, we are looking for an experienced, driven and motivated Single Gift and Mid Value Manager to join us for a 12 month Maternity Leave contract, driving the growth of the organisations Single Giving and Mid Value portfolios. This role will be responsible for the strategic development of Single Giving and Mid Value portfolios encompassing acquisition and ongoing retention of single gift supporters through a range of channels including Direct Mail, Telemarketing, SMS and Digital to prospective and existing donors as well as increasing revenue from existing and lapsed supporters.

About our role

• Drive our Single Gift strategy to grow our supporter base, improve supporter journey and engagement with Canteen.
• Support Mid Value Specialist in the continued development of a robust Mid Value program strategy. Acquire, retain, and grow the LTV of Canteen Mid Value supporters.
• Drive the strategy to acquire new bequest leads and implement Planned Giving Direct Marketing activities.
• Translate the overall Single Gift and Mid Value programs strategy into specific and deliverable operational work plans including tracking and analysis of performance, market research, improved strategy and tactics, improved systems and outcomes.
• Project manage Single Gift and Mid Value portfolios to meet the agreed outcomes.
• Responsible for setting and forecasting income and expenditure budgets for all Single Gift, Mid Value and Planned Giving Direct Marketing program activities.
• Lead by example and provide and practice leadership across the wider team to promote positive outcomes.

About You

• Proven experience, ideally 3+ years in managing Single Gift and Mid Value with a focus on developing and maintaining relationships, delivering successful outcomes.
• Single Gift and Mid Value expertise gained within NFP or Charity.
• Highly motivated, looking for an opportunity to drive income growth from within the Australian community through supporter centric activities.
• A proven track record of managing marketing campaigns is a must. In practice this means campaigns that have targeted new, existing and lapsed supporters through either Telemarketing, Direct Mail, Digital or other activities.
• Experience in managing databases to achieve efficiencies in campaign rollouts and campaign evaluations.
• Strategic thinker with the ability to translate strategy into operational priorities
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
• Proficiency in managing budgets, forecasts and reporting.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Excellent people skills and genuinely driven to support a healthy team culture.

*Due to the nature of Canteen’s work, you will be required to (very) occasionally work weekends and evenings. Advance notice will be given when this is the case, and Canteen does have a Time off in Lieu policy for taking leave as agreed with the supervising manager.
