About the role

As our Policy Manager, you will be the driving force behind Capital Health Network’s (CHN) external health policy responses, ensuring that our organisation is at the forefront of addressing crucial public health challenges in the ACT. You will apply strong research and problem-solving acumen to establish comprehensive policy position and craft impactful submissions to shape the primary health care landscape and improve health outcomes for all Canberrans.

We are seeking a dedicated policy professional who will be responsible for identifying CHN’s areas of impact and translate our funding opportunities into new actionable programs, through a range of activities including undertaking research, building and analysing data, as well as collaborating closely with our sector and industry connections to support CHN’s work in key policy areas.

About the team

The Policy Manager operates within the Policy and Planning Team, which provides data sources that underpins CHN activities and decision making. The team serves as a reference point for all CHN’s Business Units and is responsible for contributing to our local needs assessment that informs our services and program implementation.

Work location

This position is based in our Deakin office. We support flexibility and a hybrid work model at CHN and are happy to work with the successful candidate to ensure balance between work and life.

Salary: $107,179 plus superannuation.
