Are you a dynamic clinician with experience working with clients with sexual offending behaviour? Would you like to join an established and supportive team where your skills will assist youth justice clients to make positive, strengths based change to their lives?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Clinician (Psychologist or Social Worker) to join our team. This role is initially a Maternity leave position until September 2020, however if there is capacity for redeployment available after this time, we will consider extending the contract to our broader Youth Services team.
The successful clinician will deliver assessment and treatment services to youth clients aged 10-21 years who have been convicted of sexual offences in Victoria. The Male Adolescent Program for Positive Sexuality (MAPPS) is a well-established program that has been delivered across Victoria for over 20 years. Treatment includes a Basic program addressing criminogenic needs, a 2 day experiential Transition Camp and an Advanced program focused on strengths based relapse prevention.
In order to provide excellence in clinical delivery it is essential that a flexible, autonomous approach is applied. Clinicians are based at our Parkville office but are required to travel to various locations within Victoria to provide treatment. A mobile phone, laptop and fully serviced fleet vehicle will be provided to support you in this role.
