About the role

The purpose of the National Manager, Communications & Marketing is to support Care Connect to delivers its’ ambitious, inspiring strategic plan. The focus of the role is to spearhead the design, execution & measurement of the organisation’s brand identity, internal & external communications and marketing activities with the support of the Marketing Specialist and Marketing & Design Coordinator.

The key aspects of this role will include:

  • Developing and leading brand & marketing strategies
  • Developing, implementing & managing strategic communications
  • Public relations & media
  • Leadership & management of the Marketing team

This is a permanent role with flexibility in hours from 0.9 to full-time. Based at our Abbotsford office, we offer hybrid working arrangements.

About You

An experienced & qualified Communications & Marketing professional, you can demonstrate your success with developing & implementing strategic marketing plans - preferably within the health or community care sectors. You have a passion for writing & storytelling with a strong portfolio that highlights a genuine love of crafting narratives to inspire, inform and engage audiences.

You will have a strong understanding of digital marketing channels and platforms, proficiency in marketing analytics and data-driven decision-making and clear, concise & compelling communication skills across diverse platforms & audiences. You seek to understand consumer, client, carer & colleague perspectives with empathy, responsiveness and a commitment to delivering person-centric solutions. Most of all, you have high energy & enthusiasm for tough challenges and new opportunities, sharing our workplace values of Collaboration and Courage, Authenticity, Respect and Excellence - CARE - in everything you do.

Qualifications - minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or related field.

To be considered for this role you must have full Australian working rights and evidence of a minimum of 3 Covid 19 vaccinations.

Current Police & Working With Children Checks will be required – we can arrange police checks for successful candidates. Our selection process also includes psychometric assessment.
