Carers NSW is the peak organisation for carers in NSW. We are a not-for-profit organisation connecting and empowering carers across NSW and improving their quality of life through activities, programs, training and policy advice. We advocate for carers of all ages and circumstances.

As the Aged Care Sector Engagement Officer, you will be responsible for leading Carers NSW’s engagement with the Sector Support and Development Community of Practice. This role will proactively engage with relevant Aged Care sector stakeholders.

This is a part time position, 3 days per week.

As the ideal candidate, you will have the following skills and attributes:

• Demonstrated experience in proactively engaging with and maintaining relationships, with the aim of developing strong partnerships to work collaboratively
• A strong understanding and demonstrated experience of stakeholder engagement with service providers and relevant organisations within the aged care or allied health services sector
• Demonstrated understanding of issues experienced by older people and their carers
• Demonstrated experience in developing resources that support engagement, such as information presentations, articles, written communications such as emails or digital updates
• Strong research and analytical skills
• Strong time management and task prioritising skills
• High level written, oral communication and computer skills
• Ability to work unsupervised and within a team environment

Salary and Benefits

The full time salary for this role is $98K - 103K+ super, which would then be pro rata for 3 days.
