Carers NSW is the peak body in NSW for carers of all ages and circumstances. We are a not-for-profit organisation connecting and empowering carers and improving their quality of life through support, referrals, capacity building and training.
As the Carer Gateway Service Provider (CGSP) in Region 4 of NSW (Central Coast, Hunter New England and North Coast) we are excited to be growing our team and are looking for Mental Health Liaison Workers . We are looking for these roles to be based in Coffs Harbour, Newcastle, Tamworth or working remotely in the New England Region.
Reporting to the Manager, Community Engagement these roles will be responsible for connecting with mental health providers, carer support groups and organisations to create awareness, generate referrals and encourage carers who are caring for someone with a mental health issue or who are experiencing mental health issues themselves to access to Carer Gateway services throughout Region 4 of NSW. These roles are 12 month contract positions working 4 or 5 days per week until the end of June 2022.
In addition, existing networks across Region NSW 4 (Central Coast/Hunter/New England/North Coast) will be highly regarded.
