As a Chef at Carinity Hilltop, you will report to the Residential Manager / Hospitality Services Manager and be responsible for creating and providing fresh, high quality meals for Carinity residents. You will also be responsible for the smooth running of the kitchen and dining rooms and have daily interactions with both residents and their families.

This role is offered on a permanent, Full Time basis working Monday - Friday.

What do I need for the role of Chef?

  • Certificate IV Commercial Cookery or equivalent and Food Safety Certificate
  • Knowledge of and experience in preparing texture modified diets
  • An understanding of aged care legislation and Accreditation standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate well with the elderly, staff and management
  • Previous experience Aged Care/ Hospital Kitchens is desirable

Carinity Aged Care – Hilltop, is located on a beautiful 2 ½ acre block overlooking the city and Victoria Park, offering both quiet and convenience. Hilltop accommodates beds for high, low and interim care, providing quality care to each and every resident.
