What does the role involve?

As a vital member of our team, you will report to the Humanitarian Manager and provide high-quality, timely support throughout the program cycle.This position is ideal for a recent graduate passionate about the aid and development sector.

Key responsibilities will include (but not limited to):

  • Assist with project and partnership coordination for Program Coordinators and Country Offices to ensure compliance with accountability standards.
  • Manage documentation and information, ensuring alignment with internal processes for smooth operations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve administrative functions by identifying and implementing process enhancements.
  • Provide flexible support to the Programs Department with additional tasks as needed.

This role is based in our Mascot office and will work a hybrid model, including two days in the office per week.

Who are we looking for?

For this role, we are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual, who is committed to making a difference in the world. The successful candidate will have a mix of the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Tertiary qualifications in international development or other relevant discipline (or equivalent)
  • Understanding of issues related to the aid and development sector
  • Demonstrated experience in an administrative role
  • A team player, actively contributing to building a positive team culture through collaboration and support
  • Strong attention to detail and able to manage conflicting priorities
