About this Opportunity

The Service Manager manages NDIS service delivery ensuring service excellence, financial performance, contractual compliance, innovation and industry best practice in the delivery of services. The Service manager ensures the delivery of person centred services and the enabling of workforce to support NDIS participants to build their capacity and achieve social and economic participation.

This position leads a team of Disability Support Workers and key business support roles, the role is based at Mayfield and will overs services across the Hunter area.

Further tasks required in the role include:

  • Leading the delivery of services that are responsive to participant and market need.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships by facilitating and maintaining relationships with government agencies, community organisations, support groups or businesses.
  • Providing ongoing feedback, mentoring, and advice and coaching to direct reports, supporting skill and career development, continuous improvement and increased competencies through an effective performance management framework.
  • Achieving all Operational Key Areas of Responsibilities (KRA) to deliver high quality participant services in line with Castle’s strategic direction, ensure business viability and share collective responsibility for delivering organisational objectives.
  • Complying with relevant registration and reporting obligations as required of NDIS Providers and Castle’s policies.
  • Preparing accurate and timely reports on key performance and productivity trends within the region and analysing data to drive business efficiencies and sustainability, respond to market need and drive business growth.
  • Implementing, monitoring, reviewing and meeting annual budgets allocated to their portfolio.
