About the role

At our Early Learning Centre is a long day care centre we provide a range of activities for children aged between 3 and 5 years of age so that each child can engage in something in which they are interested.

We are looking for a diploma qualified Child Care Educator that can understand the needs of a child and create a fun, warm, caring, and safe environment.

This role is a permanent full-time role, working across opening and closing shifts and during vacation time. Above award rate $33.59 per hour + super + leave loading + salary packaging + RDO + paid lunch break.

Ideally you will be able to

• Have an understanding and experience with My Time, Our Place Framework.
• Assist the Director and Early Childhood Teachers to plan, implement and evaluate programs.
• Stepping up as the Educational Leader when required.
• Create a fun and engaging environment through play experiences.
• Develop positive and supportive relationships with children and families.
• Form collaborative and positive relationship with colleagues.

Requirements

• Completed the Diploma in Early Childhood Education.
• Current and valid Working with Children Check clearance.

Highly Desirable

• First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain one before starting.
• Completed CHCPRT025 ‘Identify and report children and young people at risk’ or willingness to obtain before starting.
