About the role:
Our Community Support Partners use a person-centred approach to assist our aged care clients to live independently within their own homes and communities. Our goal is to ensure client dignity, choice and to be able to live happier and healthier lives.
This role is a permanent part time role working 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am to 5pm.
What your days will look like:
- Help at home: Housekeeping, shopping and meal preparation.
- Personal care: Assisting with personal hygiene, showering, dressing, mealtime, and medication administration.
- Transport: Driving clients to appointments or shopping or leisure trips.
- Social and wellbeing: Accompanying clients on outings and social support activities.
- Documentation: Completing any reporting required to assist with our clients wellbeing.
Here’s what we need from you:
- Current unrestricted NSW driver’s license and access to your own insured vehicle.
- Cert III Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent or 2 years industry experience.
- Current First Aid.
- Willingness to travel, Km’s paid on travel between clients
