CatholicCare’s Permanency Support Program implements programs and service to support children and young people in our care who have experienced trauma and neglect. Our team provide tailored therapeutic interventions aimed at addressing the unique needs of each child or young person we care for to help them overcome trauma and build resilience on their journey to adulthood in Out of Home Care (OOHC). The role offers a lot of variety and no two days are the same!
The House Lead - OOHC is responsible for supervising and coordinating the day-to-day functions and operations of the house, together with its small team, to provide individualised support to young people in line with the principles of Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC). The role has leadership responsibilities and will be a great role model for up and coming Youth Workers providing mentoring and coaching to equip them with the skills they need to do their job well!
This is a great chance to be part of an established team that will work together in collaboration with agency leadership to deliver great services to children and young people in our care.
This is a Permanent Full-time opportunity, based on the Central Coast which may require flexibility to work after hours and at weekends when participating in the 24/7 on-call system (providing phone and/or onsite support as required). This role requires you to work directly in the house 3 days a week and the other 2 days are admin days that are completed away from the house (Office/Home).
