About the role

Embark on a meaningful journey as a Counsellor at CatholicCare NT, where you'll join a collaborative team dedicated to delivering culturally sensitive, high-quality counselling services. Specialising in family dynamics, wellbeing, and mental health, you'll empower families, support children through transitions, and provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions. Make a lasting impact by nurturing healthy relationships and guiding clients through life's critical stages.

What we are looking for

  • Relevant qualifications in Counselling, Psychology or Social Work with substantial experience in a similar role.
  • Membership of a governing body such as PACFA, AASW or AVA.
  • Demonstrated competence in using a range of evidence-based counselling and group session approaches to support client outcomes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills including case note writing.
