Are you a passionate educator ready for a leadership role? Join us as the OSHC Coordinator to oversee our Before and After School Care, and Vacation Care programs, leading and inspiring to make a real difference!

Little Flower Junior Outside School Hours Care has operated at St. Anthony’s Primary School for 13 years and is licensed for up to 130 children. Our goal is to meet family needs by offering full-time, part-time, and casual care, extending our service to both St. Anthony’s School families and the broader community.

The coordinator from our nearby Padua Senior OSHC and our Senior Portfolio Manager will provide additional support and mentorship.
There is a strong succession plan with an overarching campus manager and with Responsible Person in Charge Assistant Coordinators in place to support opening and closings, to reduce the split shifts and share the workload.

Little Flowers is a JNR campus offering OSHC To children from Prep - Grade 3. The program is designed to cater for children’s age, skill, interests and abilities through a variety of fun and challenging activities and reflects the need for children to play, relax and have leisure time.

Our service values diversity, culture, and fosters safe, supportive relationships between staff and children, encouraging active involvement of parents, staff, and children in all aspects of the program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the daily operation of our Before and After School Care and Vacation Care programs, ensuring a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for all children.
  • Lead a team of dedicated educators, providing guidance, support, and inspiration to bring out the best in each team member.
  • Develop and implement innovative, play-based programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our young adventurers.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and the school community, fostering a sense of belonging and partnership.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and standards, maintaining a high standard of care and safety.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with the Vision, Mission and Values of Catholic Early EdCare.
  • Opportunity for high-performing OSHC services to gain earned autonomy.

What We're Looking For:

  • Qualified Educator with diploma or bachelor’s degree in early childhood education or equivalent.
  • Prior leadership experience in OSHC setting.
  • Passion for creating engaging programs.
  • Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in OSHC.
  • Current First Aid Certification, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management Training, or willingness to obtain.
