We are seeking to appoint a casual Educator (Children’s Services Employee) who can step up as a Responsible Person-In-Charge at Our Lady Good Counsel Outside School Hours Care based in Gatton.

Our Centre

Located at Our Lady of Good Counsel Primary School, we are part of the Valley Parish and provide before school care, after school care and vacation care for up to 45 children.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with the children to create fun recreational and educational experiences that support their well-being.
• Provide children with a safe, secure, welcoming and nurturing environment.
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
• Participate in professional and personal development.
• Promote the service within the local community in accordance with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.

Job Requirements:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines
• Being a Responsible Person-In-Charge
• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificate
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Effective workplace communication skills
