We are looking for a dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at Windsor Neighbourhood Centre on a permanent full-time basis. Nestled in a tranquil environment with ample natural outdoor play spaces, Windsor Neighbourhood Centre offers a distinctive learning setting for up to 54 children, fostering creativity and exploration.
About You
As our ideal candidate, you possess a deep passion for nurturing children, ensuring their safety and fostering an environment where they can freely express their interests and ideas. Your role will involve daily planning and implementing our educational programs, enriching the experiences of our young learners. Compassionate and capable, you will guide both your assistant and the children through their educational journeys, embodying kindness and care throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a high-quality, inclusive educational program.
- Follow our events calendar to ensure all children can participate in programs and special events.
- Support children's growth and development, ensuring they learn and have fun in a happy, safe, and nurturing environment.
- Engage in professional and personal development.
- Promote the service within the local community, aligning with Catholic Early EdCare’s expectations and educational philosophy.
Job Requirements
- Diploma qualification recognised by ACECQA
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates
- Current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
- Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework & the National Quality Standard
- Effective workplace communication skills
