Calling all Experienced Educators!

We are looking for Educators (Children’s Services Employee’s) to join our growing team at St Stephens Outside School Hours Care on a casual basis. We are looking for educators who are looking for a career in Early Childhood, who are enthusiastic, energetic and committed to supporting children to grow and develop within a fun, happy and safe environment.

We are looking Educators with a minimum availability of 4 afternoons a week.

Our Centre

Our service is like no other! We are situated in Algester, our beautiful service is licensed for 120 children. We pride ourselves in creating rich learning environments, in a calm, loving and nurturing setting. Our team is collaborative, inclusive and kind.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

• Providing nurturing care for children
• Ensuring a safe, secure and welcoming environment
• Create fun recreational and educational experiences that are inclusive for all
• Maintain positive working relationships with all team members
• Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.

Job Requirements:

• Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Certificates or willingness to obtain
• A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
• Confidence in building strong relationships with children and families
• A supportive and enthusiastic disposition
• Strong verbal and written communication skills

Desirable:

• Qualifications relating to the industry. Would you be interested in obtaining a certificate III or Diploma in Children Services? We can help!
• Previous experience in the OSHC or Early Education industries
• Knowledge of the My Time Our Place Framework, and programming and documentation requirements
