We are seeking to appoint Qualified Educators (Children’s Services Employee - multiple positions available) at St Martin’s OSHC in Carina with afternoon availability for 2024!

Our Service

St Martin’s OSHC School grounds are located in the inner suburb of Carina. The service has a 225- licence capacity and cares for primary school students from 5 years to 13 years of age. The current staffing team consists of 20 highly driven casual educators whom are all studying in varying fields. The service truly embodies the ‘home-away-from-home’ feeling (we LOVE it) and is able to highlight and extend on children’s interests through planned and spontaneous activities. The service is continuously growing and as a result is looking for more educators to join our OSHC family.

A day in the life of an OSHC Educator…

Job Requirements

  • Holds a Cert III or Diploma qualification or higher relevant to Working with Children - a range of study areas may be recognised including, behavioural science, community services, creative arts, education, nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sports and recreation, and human welfare studies.   • Holds a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check).
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment.
  • Effective workplace communication skills.
