Seeking a seasoned Responsible Person, OSHC educator to join our esteemed team on a permanent basis, with the opportunity to serve as a Responsible Person when required. We require availability for five mornings per week totalling 15 hours per week, with the potential for some extra casual afternoon shifts.

Key responsibilities will include

  • Responsible for the day to day management of the service; or
  • Exercising supervisory and leadership responsibilities for part of the service, or
  • In the absence of the Approved Provider and the Nominated Supervisor, the person designated as placed in day-to-day charge of the Education and Care Service will act as the person with responsibility for the day-to-day management of the approved service.
  • Ensure they have a sound understanding of expectations outlined in this document to enable work performance to be executed according to our service standards.
  • Create engaging recreational and educational activities for children.
  • Foster a secure and nurturing atmosphere for our young learners.
  • Collaborate effectively within a dedicated team to enhance outcomes for children and families.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities; and
  • Work within a Leadership team to work on and complete administrative tasks; and
  • Undertake other duties requested by the Coordinator.

Job Requirements

  • Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)
  • A passion for the education and care of school aged children in a play-based environment
  • Minimum completed Diploma in children's services, or ACECQA equivalent.
  • Minimum two years’ experience
  • Effective workplace communication skills
  • Drivers licence
