Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. This is achieved through a partnership of over 10,000 committed volunteers and their member centres in communities across the nation.

ROLE

Unique opportunity to work with this well recognised brand at exciting time of change for the team. As Partnerships Manager, you will use your proven partnerships experience to retain and extend strategic relationships for Lifeline’s existing partners and corporate supporters, generating revenue and facilitating partner participation in key campaigns and events.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Campaigns and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this role has a strong account management focus whilst supporting the acquisition of corporate supporters and works closely with their team to transition multi-year, strategic brand partnerships for activation and management. You get to work with the Marketing and Campaigns team to identify and leverage campaign ideas and initiatives to drive growth in line with the organisation’s strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage a growing portfolio of retained partners including agreeing, implementing on activation plans.
  • Develop and implement new fundraising and engagement opportunities for existing partners, uplifting their support and deepen engagement.
  • Support stewardship of new business into Strategic Partnerships portfolio.
  • Manage and execute the renewal process for the partnership’s agreements, delivering excellence in customer service.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in conjunction with corporate partners.
  • Provide detailed reporting on partnerships and relevant updates communicated to partners.
  • Grow and manage the workplace giving program, identifying new workplace giving opportunities and leads.
  • Support the development of a WPG value proposition and strategy.
  • Execute effective partnership administration ensuring accuracy across invoices, contracts, reporting, acquittals, analysis and partnerships plans.
  • Follow supporter first philosophy, working within the supporter care framework, partnerships intention and framework outlined in Fundraising Strategy
  • Contribute to the improvement of all Corporate Fundraising processes.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrated success (3-5 years) in partnerships or account management with previous not-for-profit experience preferred (not essential)
  • Proven track record in identifying, capturing, developing and retaining long term and high value strategic partnerships.
  • Experience in Workplace Giving and cause related marketing highly regarded.
  • Proven ability in managing relationships with high value commercial contract with high level stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of Australian corporate giving landscape.
  • Effective cross functional collaboration and project management skills
  • Highly organised, process orientated with ability to prioritise, multi-task and work in a high-velocity environment whilst reaching targets and meeting deadlines.
  • Strategic thinker, mature, with high levels of energy, initiative and humility.
  • Strong presentation, communication and relationship management skills with ability to deliver on objectives within timeframes.
