This is your opportunity to join at an exciting time of growth and build on previous success to drive real philanthropic impact and strengthen the financial sustainability of this multi- award winning not-for-profit committed to placing young people first.
Story Factory is a not-for-profit organisation, focused on enriching the lives of young people in under-resourced communities through quality creative writing programs. Since opening in 2012, they have taken more than 65,000 student enrolments, including 12% from First Nations young people and 48% from cultural and linguistically diverse young people.
Story Factory builds young people’s literacy, confidence and creativity, with the knowledge that stories have the power to change lives.
As Philanthropy Manager, you will be responsible for creating and implementing the major gift fundraising strategy for high-net-worth individuals, companies, trust and foundations and bequests to ensure the growth, sustainability and impact of Story Factory.
Working with the Head of Fundraising, Executive Director and board, you will build relationships with existing and new donors, build a pipeline and plan to sustain financial growth, and assist with managing relationships with key government stakeholders.
