Lifeline Australia is a national suicide prevention charity providing all Australians experiencing emotional distress with access to 24-hour crisis support and suicide prevention services. This is achieved through a partnership of over 10,000 committed volunteers and their member centres in communities across the nation.

ROLE

Genuinely unique opportunity to work with well recognised national brand at exciting time of change for the team. As Senior Partnerships Manager, you will use your proven partnerships experience to retain and extend strategic relationships for Lifeline’s existing top tier partners and corporate supporters, generating revenue and facilitating partner participation in key campaigns and events.

Reporting to the Head of Strategic Partnerships and Campaigns and working closely with internal and external stakeholders, this role has a strong account management focus whilst supporting the acquisition of corporate supporters and works closely with their team to transition multi-year, strategic brand partnerships for activation and management. You get to work with the Marketing and Campaigns team to identify and leverage campaign ideas and initiatives to drive growth in line with the organisation’s strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with Head of Strategic Partnerships and Campaigns to design and implement retention of portfolio of brand aligned, multi-year corporate partnerships
  • Manage a growing portfolio of retained partners including agreeing, implementing on activation plans.
  • Work with Head of Strategic Partnerships and Campaigns and Partnerships team to identify, convert growth opportunities and support acquisition of corporate supporters below a threshold of $150k per annum.
  • Understand the strategic objectives of the partnership portfolio, supporting the team where required.
  • Manage and execute the renewal process for the partnerships agreements.
  • Develop and execute integrated marketing campaigns in conjunction with corporate partners.
  • Deliver excellence in partnership service, management practices and initiatives.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver on partnerships agreements and report on impact.
  • Build and report on budget and forecasts for all partnership activity to executive on agreed metrics.
  • Create compelling presentations, project plans, reports and other communication to connect with diverse audiences.
  • Follow supporter first philosophy, working within the supporter care framework, partnerships intention and framework outlined in Fundraising Strategy
  • Contribute to the improvement of all Corporate Fundraising processes.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Significant experience working in sponsorship, commercial partnership or account management with a track record in delivering partnerships/sponsorship benefits, activation and achieving revenue targets.
  • Proven ability in managing relationships with high value commercial contract with high level stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial drive, passion, and ability to develop fresh innovative approaches.
  • Effective cross functional collaboration and project management skills
  • Excellent negotiation, persuasion and interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised, ability to prioritise, multi-task and work in a high-velocity environment whilst reaching targets and meeting deadlines.
  • Experience in analysing and using supporter data to inform decision making of future campaigns.
  • Highly developed critical thinking, research and analytical skills
  • Mature, charismatic personality, with style, stature, leadership and diplomacy where required.
  • High levels of energy, initiative, creativity and humility.
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High competency in using excel and Salesforce (or similar CRM)
