Key Responsibilities

  • Create a welcoming and safe environment for carers and consumers.
  • Provide compassionate support and referrals to therapeutic resources.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to enhance service delivery.
  • Contribute to service design discussions and improvement initiatives.
  • Participate in professional development and reflective practice.

Requirements and Attributes

  • Lived experience as a family, Carer, supporter or kin.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and adaptively.
  • Understanding of carer's challenges and a commitment to social models of health.
  • Comfortable with diversity and digital environments.
  • Preparedness for evening and/or Saturday work.
  • Background in mental health or Carer support programs.
  • First Nations or culturally diverse background.
  • Current Australian drivers' license.
