The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Health Promotion Program Lead to enhance our dedicated Health Promotion Team. In this pivotal role, you will use systems thinking and intersectional health equity approaches to:
- Lead impactful programs addressing community health and wellbeing priorities.
- Collaborate strategically with internal teams and external partners to deliver innovative, evidence-based initiatives.
- Inspire and support your team, fostering a culture of trust, engagement, and continuous development.
- Influence policy and strategy, advocating for inclusive, size-friendly, and gender-equitable practices.
- Drive accountability, overseeing budgets, compliance, and performance metrics.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, plan, and evaluate initiatives aligned with the BHN Health Promotion Plan.
- Cultivate high-level operational and strategic partnerships.
- Guide and support a team of Health Promotion Officers, ensuring their professional growth and success.
- Deliver evidence-based advocacy and policy development aligned with health equity frameworks.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and accreditation standards.
About You
You’re a dynamic and empathetic leader with:
- Tertiary qualifications in health, public health, or health promotion.
- Proven experience designing and delivering impactful health promotion programs.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of systems theory, gender equity principles, and size-inclusive practices.
- A commitment to inclusive, culturally aware leadership.
