The Resilient Communities program includes multiple bespoke programs with highly skilled staff across the following services:
- The statewide RhED program, Victoria’s leading resource for sex worker advocacy and support.
- Innovative responses to family violence and complex triage.
- Culturally responsive Indigenous access and equity initiatives
- Evidence-based counselling services tailored to unique community needs.
The Opportunity
This is no ordinary management role. As Program Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of driving innovative, client-centred solutions to some of society’s most pressing challenges.
You will:

What We’re Looking For
This is an exceptional role for the right person who is a politically astute and engaging leader with:
- Exceptional Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams with a lived experience, and maintain the diversity of the services while integrating them into a community health service.
- Expertise in Vulnerable Populations: Deep understanding of the challenges faced by complex and marginalised communities, paired with a commitment to trauma-informed care.
- Strategic and Operational Excellence: Experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating complex, evidence-based programs.
- Advocacy and Engagement: A track record of influencing policy, managing stakeholders, and contributing to progressive reform agendas.
- Commitment to Equity: An intersectional lens in program delivery and team leadership.
What You’ll Bring
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in managing and delivering complex social support programs.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- The ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to achieve organisational goals.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting business cases.
