About C Care:

Established in 2011, C Care is a leading NFP whose mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged individuals by giving them a hand-up in a dignified way, through the provision of nutritious food and warm friendship to now more than 1000 people each week with a significant increase in demand over COVID.

The C Care team, largely volunteer-driven, work hard to produce hundreds of meals and food packages each week for our recipient community.

At C Care we work to make every client feel a sense of dignity, respect, inclusion as a result of C Care’s tailored care.

Volunteers are the soul of C Care and a community of 1500 strong and growing. Volunteers have a front seat in the core work of C Care and as a result can see and understand the impact they are having with every session.

About the role:

C Care is seeking an administrative professional who will be involved in the day-to-day administration of the programs services and activities at C Care as well as providing wide ranging secretariat and support functions.

As well as receiving all volunteers, visitors and contractors at our St Kilda Hub, both in person and over the phone, you will develop a sound knowledge of our people and programs to ensure all calls and enquiries are handled efficiently and in a welcoming manner.

Reporting to the Director, you will ensure the data is up to date across our platforms, complete and clean by managing the ongoing administration and maintenance of the database. This is to ensure C Care is prepared to manage and use its data to effectively and efficiently deliver on its great services and ensure optimal program impact and experience by all of C Care’s stakeholders, Volunteer, Clients, Donors, Partners.

Attention to detail and teamwork underpin success in this role as well as a demonstrated ability to communicate sensitively and effectively.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and passionate individual who is looking for a challenge and who is comfortable working in a fluid, fast-paced and growing not-for-profit.

Key duties and responsibilities:

  • First point of contact for inbound request and inquiries at C Care

  • Day to day management of the Salesforce (SF) database

  • Maintain current constituents within the database

  • Maintain and support organisational and user dashboards

  • Ensure quality of data in SF, enabling C Care to fully leverage the value of the system

  • Create automated workflow where required

  • Work collaboratively with other C Care team members to achieve desired outcomes

  • Other related duties or projects as required

About You:

  • Possess a pro-active. outgoing, positive and can-do attitude (essential)

  • 2+ years NFP CRM experience (Salesforce preferable) and a fundamental understanding of the programs workings

  • Highly developed foundational knowledge in administration which allows you to quickly learn and/or understand the functionality of new programs

  • Ability to problem solve and identify solutions

  • Extensive knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office programs

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technology/platforms and complex processes in an easy to follow, comprehensible manner

  • Excellent written communication skills, attuned to the creation of clear and concise training manuals and protocols

  • Highly organised with a strong attention to detail and project management

  • Experience training team members on software, programs and applications

  • Highly developed interpersonal skills, including patience, approachability and compassion

  • Ability to manage task responsibility and prioritisation with various stakeholders

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box to achieve successful outcomes

  • Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
