The Marketing Services Co-ordinator will work with our Marketing Services Team, Brand, Communications and Digital Team, Customers & Supporters Team, Data & Supporter Insights team and other codesign stakeholders to develop and implement event and marketing activity by strengthening our brand, growing our supporter base, and increasing lifetime value from event participants.

This role is integral in delivering and supporting marketing campaigns as well as signature events like Diamond Ball alongside other exciting events led by a passionate Marketing and Fundraising team. You will report to a dynamic Events Lead who is focused on growth and customer best in-class experience. This role is for a 12 month fixed term maternity leave cover.

As our Marketing Services Co-ordinator your purpose will be to:

  • Provide support for our signature events, Diamond Ball, CEO Dare to Cure, Internal Institute Events, Community Events, Symposiums, Gala Dinners, Cocktail events.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of event key success indicators including participant statistics, marketing and website statistics, gross revenue, expenditure etc
  • Support the team by sharing mutually beneficial information, participating and volunteering at other Institute fundraising events, actively participating in the team meetings where possible
  • Coach and manage any event interns or volunteers to develop their capabilities and encourage their success
  • Actively contributing to the annual Marketing and Events strategic plan and assisting in meeting the overall corporate objectives of the Marketing and Fundraising Team
  • Be responsible for managing the relationship of agreed key supporters, event sponsors and suppliers
  • Oversee the delivery of donated goods and services within the Events team maximising any opportunity for pro bono support and goods for auction prizes and events

To succeed you will have:

  • Experience managing resources, juggling multiple projects, responsibilities and deadlines whilst reporting directly to senior/executive level staff.
  • An understanding of budget management
  • Highly developed interpersonal and customer service skills including ability to relate with all types of donors and make them feel valued and appreciated
  • Experience utilising project management tools and process and be data driven with strong analytical and reporting skills
  • The ability to work independently and in conjunction with the Events Lead and the Marketing Services Lead
