About the team

The Marketing & Fundraising Division is undertaking an ambitious 5-year growth plan. At the heart of the plan, is a project to develop a supporter-centric strategy that better understands our supporters, improves the experiences they receive and increases their lifetime value.

About the role:

Driving the execution of our Supporter First Strategy, this role sits in the new Supporter Experience Team which is responsible for leading a supporter-centric and holistic approach to the supporter lifecycle and experience of CCNSW. Playing a vital role in the implementation of multi-channel automated journeys from our Marketing Automation and Funraisin platforms, this role is instrumental in delivering a high-quality supporter experience, improved supporter engagement and life-time value.

Key responsibilities of the role:

The Supporter Experience Co-ordinator role will build, execute and optimise CCNSW multi-channel marketing programs across the supporter life-cycle to continuously improve supporter experience and engagement to increase supporter life-time value. This innovative new role seeks to transform marketing and communication journeys to deliver the best experience possible for all CCNSW supporters.

  • Regularly scan the industry to understand fundraising best practice and apply these insights across supporter journeys.
  • Work with Supporter Experience Specialist to plan, multi-channel marketing journeys across the supporter lifecycle Campaign Execution
  • Design, build, test and execute supporter journeys (across all channels) and product journeys (EDM and SMS only) with a view to delivering increased performance and consistency
  • Conduct quality assurance tests for supporter journeys prior to launch
  • Analyse journey reports to identify optimisation opportunities, including optimisations to email/SMS delivery, click rates, unsubscribes, fill forms, registrations and donations
  • Support the team to deliver supporter first projects to better understand the needs of supporters to increase their lifetime value
  • Create journey materials that are in line with the visual and verbal brand of the organization.
  • Work with agencies to execute journeys that deliver project/product objectives to time and budget.
  • Manage and respond to all Direct Messages received through Facebook, ensuring prompt and effective communication with supporters. Collaborate closely with the Supporter Care team, led by Matt, to maintain a high standard of engagement and resolve inquiries
  • Journey tracking against agreed KPI's and make recommendations on how to reach and exceed targets
  • Contribute to post campaign analysis to inform strategic planning for the supporter and product strategies
  • Undertake administrative tasks required for the team

About you

Essential:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or 2+years experience in marketing, communications, or fundraising.
  • Demonstrated experience mapping and managing supporter journeys using marketing platforms like Campaign Monitor, Rungopher, Marketo etc. High attention to detail with a passion for optimisation and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple program areas to build strong relationships and achieve results.
  • Self-directed learner, able to quickly master new technologies and ways of working.

Desirable:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Copywriting and design software experience
  • Basic Data interrogation/SQL skills
