About the role

The Individual Giving Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing and delivering strategies to cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors. You will manage CCQ Cash Appeals and lead the Individual Giving Team, encouraging sustained, increasing, and impactful giving to achieve budget targets.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Donor strategy and management, including working with the Marketing and Campaign Managers to oversee the development and implementation of supporter journeys and persona marketing
  • Managing and leading a team made up of our Regular Giving Lead and Philanthropy Coordinator (Mid and High Net Worth Donors)
  • Developing annual fundraising plans, goals and budgets for Individual Giving
  • Analysing donor data and campaign results to assess the effectiveness of strategies
  • Working closely with the Supporter Engagement Team to ensure that all donors receive personalised acknowledgments and reports on the impact of their contributions.

This role is a Permanent, Full-time position (37.5 hours per week).

About you

To be successful in this role you will bring:

  • Significant experience in fundraising, with a focus on individual giving.
  • Proven track record of securing gifts from individual donors and managing donor relationships via cash appeals, with experience in a large not-for-profit health sector organisation highly regarded.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in staff supervision, team development, and creating a collaborative work environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with a focus on relationship building
