Children and Young People with Disability Australia (CYDA) has an exciting opportunity for a person with disability who has experience in content creation, communications or similar.

This role will support CYDA’s strategic work and specific projects by elevating the lived experiences of young people to urge decisions that support best outcomes for children and young people.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

• This is an identified position for a person with lived experience of disability
• Part-time position (18.75 hours per week)
• Location: In-office (Collingwood, Victoria), remote (all states and territories considered) or hybrid 
• This is a fixed-term role (until June 2025)
• This is a Level 4 role within the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award ($85,120 to $89,588 pro rata excluding superannuation) plus generous salary packaging

POSITION OVERVIEW

Reporting to the Community Impact Manager, the Communications Officer will work collaboratively with the media and communications team to support CYDA’s messaging across social media, website and regular newsletters.
