• Part-time position (30 hours per week)
• 2 positions available
• Location: In-office (Collingwood, Victoria), remote (all states and territories considered) or hybrid 
• This is a fixed-term role (until June 2025, with extension possible)
• This is a Level 5 role within the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services (SCHADS) Award ($97,377 to $101,787, pro rata excluding superannuation) plus generous salary packaging

CYDA is the national representative organisation for children and young people with disability aged 0 to 25 years. Our vision is that children and young people with disability living in Australia are valued and living empowered lives with equality of opportunity; and our purpose is to ensure governments, communities, and families, are empowering children and young people with disability to fully exercise their rights and aspirations.

Position overview

Reporting to the Policy and Research Manager, the Policy Officer will prepare submissions, reports and other relevant policy and advocacy work to progress the rights of children and young people with disability. This will involve a range of activities including data analysis, desktop research, and engaging with CYDA’s members, partner organisations and stakeholders.
