ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Maintenance Coordinator, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of maintenance work involved in the care of CEHL properties. You will be the first point of contact for our tenants and members, ensuring that all jobs have appropriate time, materials, equipment, and labour skills required to be successfully carried out and completed.

Your key accountabilities will include assessing the scope of work required, allocating work orders, offering advice to our members regarding priorities for cyclical maintenance works, and allocating priority of works. You'll coordinate the maintenance of vacant properties to minimise un-tenantable periods, inspect properties on site as needed, and summarise inspection reports. You'll estimate budget allocations, recruit, and monitor tradespersons, and observe Occupational Health and Safety requirements while ensuring contractors demonstrate compliance.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a motivated and experienced candidate with a proven track record in maintenance coordination. Our ideal candidate possesses an understanding of domestic building maintenance, experience in customer service roles requiring efficient service delivery, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and competing priorities.

We're looking for someone who has experience working within the prescribed framework but is also able to think creatively to resolve problems. Experience of working independently, conducting site inspections of residential properties, and asset management portfolio planning is required.

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for success in this role, as is proficiency in administration and information technology skills across multiple platforms.
