Whether it’s a helping hand around the house and garden, or support to get out and about in the community and connect with others, you’ll enjoy walking alongside our clients to ensure they enjoy a full and active life for many years to come. We are seeking qualified staff to join our Team in the Moreton Bay area, particularly in Caboolture, Bribe Island, Moreyfield, Deception Bay, Rothwell and North Lakes on a permanent part time basis.

As a Centacare Support Worker, you’ll enjoy walking alongside our aged care clients to support their needs and aspirations and enjoy life from the comfort of their own home. This could mean support with personal care, domestic assistance, social visits, transport, running errands, preparing meals and support to enjoy hobbies and interests.

About Yourself

  • Have a genuine interest and respect for the unique personalities, history, and values of our senior community members.
  • Possess a compassionate, empathetic, and caring nature.
  • Have excellent communication and time management skills.
  • Are self-motivated, have a positive work ethic and are client-focused whilst working independently in clients’ homes.
  • Display a positive attitude, are consistently reliable, honest always, adhere to safe work practices and understand and work within professional boundaries.
  • The physical capability to carry out a range of manual tasks.
  • Broad shift availability! The more available you are, the more work we can potentially offer you.

What you’ll need

  • A Certificate III or IV in Individual Support, (Aged Care, Home and Community Care)
  • A current Driver’s License
  • A clean Driving records.
  • A registered and reliable car with CTP Insurance
  • A current Police Check
  • Blue Card
  • NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
  • Current First Aid and CPR
