The Manufacturing Division of the CFMEU is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Skills & Vocational Training Officer to join our Division Office, based in Carlton, Melbourne.

Working across our timber-based sectors, key responsibilities include identification and engagement with key stakeholders, participation in relevant committees and forums at State and Federal levels and the ability to develop and implement sector-wide projects.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate a high level of industry knowledge within the VET, training and/or education sector. They will also need a strong understanding of industrial awards and vocational career pathways and must have a demonstrated commitment to trade union principles.

This is a full-time, fixed-term 2 year contract role with an extension option.
