Background

The Mooroolbark Community House (MCH) is a complete start up and requires the energy and skill of an experienced and courageous community worker to get it up and running. We are looking for someone with the passion and skills to develop and coordinate a Community House that builds on existing assets and reflects local need.

Job Description

It is anticipated MCH will offer social connection, lifelong learning, volunteering, health and wellbeing opportunities for people of all ages, and become a trusted place for information and referral. Mooroolbark is situated in Melbourne’s outer east, 37kms from Melbourne in the Shire of Yarra Ranges.

The successful candidate will be able to combine qualities such as innovation and organic community work practice with demonstrated strategic, administrative and coordination skills, to establish and lead MCH.
