Reporting directly to the Branch Secretary, the Operations Manager will be responsible for the delivery of effective and efficient solutions, resourcing, administrative and support services to support the work of the union. Based in Hobart, this role will lead the Operations team to deliver key projects, manage stakeholder relationships, provide recommendations to the Branch Council/Secretary, and work as part of the Management Team to promote and achieve organisational cohesion and drive a positive and supportive workplace culture.

The successful applicant will be a collaborative and empowering leader with demonstrated experience in a similar role. Expertise in organisational development, change management, financial oversight and business systems is also required. The role will suit a self-motivated strategic thinker, with highly developed communication and problem solving skills and a continuous improvement focus. A commitment to the principles of Unionism is essential. Experience as a Nurse/Midwife or other health care role would be desirable.
