Climate Friendly has delivered over 20Mt in carbon abatement as at the end of 2020. Our immediate mission is to establish partnerships, by 2025, that will store or reduce 150Mt of CO2-e, while repairing nature and supporting reconciliation. The role

As Project Registrations Coordinator you will manage application processes for carbon project registrations, variations and consents along with communications with the relevant regulator and project stakeholders.

This will include preparing standard contracts including for project services and trading, assisting to prepare legal due diligence on new carbon farming projects and assisting with governance work such as updating policies and onboard counterparties.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with legal due diligence on new carbon farming projects.
  • Managing project registration process including client information forms, project registration packs, carbon credit account forms, eligible interest holder consent packs and variation requests.
  • Assisting to prepare standard contracts for project services and trading of carbon credits.
  • Handling of the correspondence and legal inboxes.
  • Assistance with data entry and management of databases and files.

This is a maternity cover role, contracted until at least 30th June 2025

About you

  • Relevant paralegal and/or administrative experience.
  • Ability to project manage and prioritise large array of tasks and requests from clients.
  • Attention to detail to complete and check paralegal tasks accurately.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a remotely based team and to work independently with minimal supervision.
