The Role

We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced director to join our team for the commencement of the 2025 school year. The full-time position will require you to develop, plan, document and implement a high-quality educational program for children aged between 0-6 years.

Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to – implementing a curriculum that meets the needs, interests and strengths of each child in conjunction with staff and families. Mentoring a team of passionate and dedicated educators. Building relationships with families and partnerships with the community. Managing the centre's budget and administrative requirements. Role modelling behaviours and practices in relation to all NQF indicators. Have a strong emphasis on sustainability and sustainable practices within the centre.

To be successful, you will possess:

• A Bachelor of Teaching/Education (Early Childhood) or Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Experience as a Director/Leader within an early childhood environment (desirable)
• Sound working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and EYLF.
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Certificates.
• A Working with Children Check Clearance (or completed the application process for new check).
• Computer literacy and the ability to use data collection systems and Microsoft office.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and interpersonal with a proven ability to facilitate the development of teamwork amongst staff.
• Working knowledge of Government legislation, regulations and industrial awards and current issues relevant to childcare services.
