About the Role

Are you a proactive, organised and creative communications professional, with a passion for delivering targeted communications and marketing plans? Do you want to contribute your skills and expertise to programs that support multicultural young people to thrive? If so, we would love to hear from you!

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Communications and Marketing Officer to join our team. In this interesting and varied role, you will partner with a range of teams and programs across the organisation to plan, coordinate and deliver communications and marketing activities. Our ideal candidate will bring essential skills in stakeholder relationships and project management, along with a collaborative approach.

  • Hours: 38 hours per week (1.0 FTE), Full Time
  • Fixed Term (Parental Leave Replacement): until May 2025
  • Base Salary (SCHADS Level 5): $97,379.75 per annum plus Super and access to Salary Packaging (Salary Packaging is a great way to increase the value of your salary by allowing you to receive a portion of your income in the form of tax free or tax-deductible benefits.)
  • Location: Carlton
  • Interviews: to be held in the week beginning Monday 12 August 2024.

You will have:

  1. Demonstrated experience in project managing and executing a broad range of communications and marketing activities and output within a fast-paced workplace setting.
  2. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders of varying levels of experience, seniority, and communications/marketing knowledge.
  3. Proven ability to coach, guide or upskill other communications professionals and relevant internal stakeholders, imparting your knowledge and subject matter expertise in marketing.
  4. Demonstrated skills in developing (writing, designing, producing) marketing content, output, plans, and campaigns, for diverse audiences, purposes, and channels.
  5. High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Mailchimp, Wordpress, Google Analytics, Canva etc. Proficiency in the use of the Adobe Creative Suite considered a bonus.
