Consumers of Mental Health WA (CoMHWA) is the peak body for consumers of mental health services in WA. As a community based not for profit organisation, CoMHWA understands, listens and acts upon the voice of consumers of mental health and the wider community.

This person will be responsible for the end to end processes as they relate to financial records, financial and management reporting, budgets, cash flow, grant applications and payroll functions.

ESSENTIAL MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrated ability with MYOB and Microsoft Excel and the Office 365 programs.
  • Demonstrated ability of accounting systems with a high level of accuracy.
  • Demonstrated capacity for attention to detail in relation to financial matters including job costing.
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare financial reports/prepare documentation for audits.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Lived experience of mental health issues.
  • Understanding of the not for profit sector.

DESIRABLE

  • Experience in working with people with lived experience of mental health issues.
  • Experience in working with people across a diversity of backgrounds.
